Obey SMITE Season 4:

Posted by Obey Alliance on

We would like to start off by thanking all of our fans for the amazing support we received at the SMITE World Championships. We are pleased with the progress we made there but will always strive to improve. We look forward to battling for our spot in the championship this coming season.

While it saddens us that we have to say goodbye to two of our valued players, we are excited to announce our new additions to start out Season 4 with two highly respected and accomplished players. We would like to welcome maniaKK and EmilZy.

The Portuguese player maniaKK will be returning to the Solo Lane to fight along his longtime teammate Twig so you can be sure to expect great things coming from this duo.

Our second player EmilZy hails from Denmark. He will be playing the support role to ensure our victory. He started out his career at the age of 13 and never ceases to amaze.

You can read the statements from both our Smite team captain and Obey's owner Julian Castro down below.

Julian Castro, Owner of Obey Alliance:

"We are looking forward to another amazing year of SMITE. Whilst of course roster changes are difficult for everyone, the true test of any team is to persevere. With the acquirement of maniaKK and Emilzy, I truly look forward to this new season with great excitement. Two great players, that have been tested throughout the scene and with the passion that Obey looks for in everything we do."

Nathaniel "Ataraxia" Mark, Team Captain of Obey SMITE

"While it saddened me that we had to go through roster changes, I am extremely excited to begin Season 4 with our new lineup. We've picked up two highly respected and accomplished players to flesh out our roster, firstly, we have the returning Portuguese Powerhouse maniaKK returning to the solo lane. He's a long-time friend and teammate of Twig in particular, so expect great things between them! Our second pick up is EmilZy, the young Danish player has been in the competitive scene from the age of 13 and he continues to improve and impress. He's one of the most celebrated support players in Europe and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together!"

We would like to thank both Frezzyy and Variety for their time in Obey and wish them the best in their future endeavours.

Keep your eye out for the new lineup as they fight their way to the top once more.
